  If you have experienced other martial arts, you have to try this It is a fascinating mix of body awareness, defense, non competitive martial arts. It's finding your center and how you react to others. I am a 48 year old woman out of shape and I can do this. I'm not anywhere near the best AND I DON"T HAVE TO BE. I was able to do MY best. Christian has infectious enthusiasm and looks out for all. He enjoys teaching and he will work with you as much as you need.
  
  I take my child and two of his friends and I had to try it. It's one of the most fascinating sports I've ever witnessed and you work out hard but feel peaceful after I enjoy that the goal is protection, and NOT hurting your opponent. The goal is to use their weaknesses against them, diffuse the situation and move on. I cannot imagine any age not being able to find a place in this class.
